History
Through his work, they have pioneered new expressions of community, both in the UK and internationally, through local church, social enterprise initiatives, and NGO activity.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, LifeLine Church set aside a pool of resources with the aim of supporting partner organisations in other nations. Relationships with partners developed over time, and one relationship connected with another, growing into an organic network of mutual relationships.
Vision
John’s vision has always been to train and equip people to become active change agents in their communities.
Enabling people to make a difference in systems that are unjust, raising them up into leaders, and releasing them as champions for their communities has been at the heart of all that has been established over these years.
Through this vision, there are teams across the nations that now shape and lead the ongoing work of LNI. John continues to be relationally involved, being called on for strategic insight and advice on developmental issues.
